I am so pleased to welcome you to the Senior Management Team of Emirates British Nursery. I am privileged to lead this team of highly experienced and qualified managers, who understand the learning and development needs of young children.

I have over 25 years experience of working with young children, beginning in the North East of England where I worked extensively with the Education department. Holding senior positions of responsibility, I was involved in developing and implementing successful teaching programmes for the early years.

I hold a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Sheffield University in England and I am also CQSW qualified. I believe it is important for all practitioners, including senior management that we continuously develop both academically and professionally. This ethos ensures we continually accommodate the latest EYFS methods and early childhood education methodologies.

My passion is my family and the high standards I demanded for my own children, I believe should be the same for all children.

The nursery managers and staff team are a testament to that. I am proud of the reputation we have for providing excellent childcare and education to children within the UAE.

At Emirates British Nursery our aim is simple, to provide quality purpose built facilities and outstanding childcare and education and that is why we continue to grow.

We do hope you will visit us so you can experience for yourself, what Emirates British Nursery has to offer.

My name is Tracy Penketh, I am the Headmistress at Emirates British Nursery Motor City branch. I am qualified within Early Years and also management. I have worked in early years with children and families for over 27 years. I have managed Early Years teams for 14 years which has given me a wide breadth of knowledge in all areas of child development, motivating teams to ensure they meet every child's individual needs. I believe every child should be nurtured in an environment with key adults who ensure their safety, facilitate their development and inspire them to learn, to ensure all children in their care reach their full potential.

My name is Dawn Rose, I am the Headmistress at Emirates British Nursery Mirdif branch. I have been happily living in Dubai since 2002 with my family and have two wonderful children, Jessica and George. I have been working in Early Years for the past 8 years at Emirates British Nursery and have qualified in both Early Years and Leadership for Health and Social Care. Working with young children is the most rewarding job in the world and in my experience, a happy, content child is a child who will flourish, learn and develop into a confident, secure young person.

My name is Felicity Corbett, I am the headmistress of Emirates British Nursery Dubai Silicon Oasis Branch. My motto is, “In education, you have to be passionate, love what you do and give something of yourself everyday to inspire those around you.” I have been living in Dubai for ten years and working in the education sector for over seventeen. My interests are literature, psychology and child development. Motivated by my desire to “educate rather than lecture”, I started my career in education with the ambition to improve student learning with effective and diverse methodologies. Throughout my career in New Zealand, The United Kingdom, South America and the Middle East, I have always made it a priority to share my passion for education, inspire children and guide them through their learning and personal journeys. I am excited for the coming year and look forward to meeting our new families.
